2/1/2002 - We celebrated Jenn's 25th birthday at our house. Here she poses with her young family. Jenn shows off one of her birthday presents, a heart shaped candle.

Jenn also got a Taebo DVD and a heart picture frame. Jenn was a little surprised when she opened up a shoe box and actually found shoes in the form of sneakers.

Judy's Mom and Vern joined us for Judy's very delicious chicken cordon blue dinner.
Our friends Bill and Beverly joined us for dessert.

Last year Jenn was pregnant with this little one on her birthday. This year he stole some of the attention.
Caleb's menu was a little different from ours.

Jenn is just about one month older than Jeff. Here she holds Caleb while waiting for us to sing 'Happy Birthday.'
Jeff spends a few minutes with Caleb in the living room.

Both Caleb and Maggie love to play with helium balloons. I sit nearby to make sure Maggie plays nicely.
Caleb is used to having a dog and two cats in the house, but none of them would every play with him. Maggie enjoyed playing with another baby.

Bill 'plays' with Maggie. She was declawed a couple of weeks ago, but she still has sharp teeth.
Maggie was gentle with Caleb. Although she shows her teeth, she and Caleb mostly just batted at each other with their 'paws'.

Caleb can stand up by himself now, although he prefers to sit.
Here Maggie stands on her hind feet, as she and Caleb try to figure out how to get the balloon down off the ceiling.

Jeff and Jenn gave Grandma a pretty candle for her birthday, which we will celebrate next week.
By the end of the evening, Caleb was all tuckered out (and so was Maggie). Here he sleeps in Jenn's arms as they get ready to leave.
