Judy working out with Caleb Caleb goes for a spin
Judy and I stayed overnight at Caleb's house while Jeff and Jenn got away for the night. Caleb didn't even fuss when they left and seemed excited to have someone to play with.

Caleb's inside car goes in just one direction - forward, and because he doesn't understand how to steer he usually runs into the wall or a piece of furniture in no time.

This is how it goes, Grandma Are we ticklish?
Caleb showed us how to put the balls onto the pegs, but he wasn't interested in matching the colors.

After Caleb wore Grandma out, Grandpa got his chance tossing him around.

Checking the tempterature Just like Maggie does
Next it was time for Caleb's bath. Just like Maggie, he likes to feel the running water.

Caleb loves to take a bath, but he just has to touch that water.

Someone's watching closely I can do it by myself
After his bath, Caleb had some Cheerios for his snack. Riley stands on guard to catch anything that falls to the floor.

A little later Caleb shows he can eat by himself, which really puts Riley on alert.

What a thirsty boy All ready for bed
Caleb loves to drink. He downed 3 full bottles of juice and another bottle of milk.

Finally Caleb is clean, has a full tummy, and is ready to go to bed.

Caleb's favorite breakfast Some of it ended up in his mouth
The next morning, Grandpa got Caleb up and fixed his breakfast. Caleb likes to have a waffle with peanutbutter on it - something his mother taught him.

Later Caleb figured out how to scrape off the peanutbutter and some of it even made it to his mouth.

Are we comfortable? How does this go on, Grandpa?
Caleb enjoys sitting in his booster chair, where he can put his foot up on the table and relax while he's eating.

Caleb decided that the cereal clamp was a necklace, but he couldn't figure out how to make it stay on.

I want to go outside! Let's make some noise!
After his breakfast, Caleb pushed one of the kitchen chairs over to window so he could see outside.

He wanted to make some noise so Grandma, who had finally gotten up, gave Caleb the empty coffee can and a spoon.

Let's go, Grandma Caleb drives to the park
We wanted to get to the park before it got too hot, so Grandma took Caleb upstairs to get him dressed.

The park is only a few blocks away, so we let Caleb drive his car.

Caleb gets sleepy in his swing Judy swings too!
First Caleb took a ride on the swing. It almost seemed to put him to sleep.

Judy got on one of the bigger swings next to Caleb.

A look from below Caleb arrives safely at the bottom with a smile
We weren't sure if Caleb would go down through the long red tunnel. I waited below with the camera while Judy got Caleb seated at the top.

Without any hesitation Caleb came sliding down and gave me a big smile!

One last ride Well let me just tell you, Mommy!
There was another slide, and Caleb took several rides on it before we headed back for home.

Before long, Jeff and Jenn got home. Although we had a good time, Caleb was very happy to see them!
