12/25 - We spent most of our Christmas day at Jeff and Jenn's with Danny and Judy's Mom. Here Caleb sits in a rocking chair that Judy and I got him.
Caleb also got his own dust buster. He cleans off the table, while all his new talking animal friends watch him.

Danny has been home since Saturday. He holds his growing nephew up.
Judy and I also got Caleb a rather large snuggly dog. He could hardly carry him around, but he seemed to love to fall down on top of his new friend.

Jeff shopped and shopped for a necklace to give to Jenn. She proudly displays it for this photo.
Caleb gave this painting (including a hand print) to Jeff. When we asked him about the painting he looked at the palm of his hand, remembering how he had made it.

Another gift Jeff got on Christmas was this new video card for his computer.
Caleb wasn't quite as interested in the clothes he got, so his Mommy displays his new coat.

As soon as Caleb saw an Elmo doll in one of his presents as Danny was unwrapping it, he ran over and pointed to this Elmo doll which he had gotten on Sunday at the Light Christmas exchange.
Judy shows off her new sweater, which she got from her sister Janice.

Judy's Mom came with us to Jeff and Jenn's. She had planned to see her husband Vern in the Veteran's Home, but the snowstorm postponed her trip.
Someone handed Caleb this tree ornament and asked him to hang it on the tree. We were amazed at how he took his time, opened up the loop on the string, and put the ornament perfectly on the tree.

I did get the traditional head-cocked picture of Jeff and Jenn, but this one was a little different so I used it instead.
Danny does a lot of his own cooking back in Seattle, so he was happy to get this deep fryer.

Jenn made a large assortment of hors d'oeuvres and her Mom brought some chili. Everything was delicious, and there was far more than we could eat.
Caleb preferred his peanut sandwiches. He is surrounded by all his animal friends, but the only one interested in his sandwich was Riley.

We were supposed to get a big winter storm, but fortunately we only got a few inches. That was enough to make a perfect Christmas.
Caleb's Grandma Light holds him up to the window so he can enjoy the snow.

Caleb got a remote controlled Jeep. He checks out Danny's BMW toy car.

Judy and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. We were able to spend this speical day with our children, our grandson and Judy's Mom.
We found Caleb pounding out notes on his new piano and humming along.

Danny got Caleb a set of Elmo and Cookie Monster dolls in potato sacks.
Caleb quickly learned that when he touched their hands they started jumping (racing) and talking.

Caleb had two great grandmothers present. Carol Light's mother poses with Judy's mom.
Jenn displays her new hair dryer.

Later in the evening Jenn's dad Bob romps with Caleb on the floor.
Caleb helped his Grandma Light open a gift from Judy and me.

Caleb got his own tool set for Christmas. Now he can help Daddy on all of his projects.
Caleb went from place to place, checking with Daddy to see if it was all right to hammer. He got permission to "fix" this door frame.

Caleb has an assortment of sunglasses, but he barely keeps any of them on long enought to get a picture.
Judy got a few gifts to help her with her aches and pains. Danny got her this very special therapeutic pillow.

Caleb likes to unwrap presents just about as much as likes to blow out candles.
Caleb also got an updated version of Mr. Potato Head. After you put all of his eyes, ears, nose, etc. together, you press a button and everything pops off. Here Caleb decided to try out Mr. Potato Head's ear on himself.
